ACCREDITATION

On successful completion of the yogahaven Teacher Training course students will be accredited as 200hr international yoga teachers. This means students are entitled to use the letters RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) and benefit from a discounted rate for yoga insurance through yogahaven. We can also arrange Trainee insurance while you are still in training. We also support the Independent Yoga Network (they're a similar company to yoga alliance) so you could also register with them should you wish to.

Once certified after the yogahaven Teacher Training students are then free to teach yoga safely to any markets and students. A yogahaven 200hr course is an internationally recognised certification which you can use wherever you may roam.

In the unlikely event that outside circumstances beyond our control, e.g. war, natural disasters, etc., oblige us to withdraw from the country originally offered for our training, we shall offer an alternative location for the training. If none is available, you can defer to another course. The company will not refund course costs but will offer alternative options. The company is not responsible for flight costs and we therefore recommend getting your own insurance.

OPPORTUNITIES

Upon graduating as an accredited yoga teacher with yogahaven, students will have gained all the skills needed to start teaching yoga with confidence and compassion, easily catering for different styles of yoga and the individual needs of students. Though our history at yogahaven is mainly hot, you will learn a complete sequence suitable to teach in many environments from corporate classes, privates and gyms to hot studios and of course non - hot studios too.

One of the strongest testimonials to the success of our training is that all the hot yoga teachers within the family of six yogahaven studios across the UK have trained with us. And when the course ends, the support doesn’t. Our teaching graduates are encouraged to stay in touch, and after training there are opportunities to lead donation-based Karma Yoga classes for charities at our studios . A high percentage of graduates have gone on to teach across studios worldwide, with some even having opened their own studios. Their success is our joy.

Asteya in Action: yogahaven Go Green

yogahaven is proud to be a Carbon Neutral company, always striving to stay close to our yogi roots and work in line with authentic yogic principles. We do our best to care about the world around us, and hope to inspire change not just in our own yoga network but within the wider global community.

At our studios we fundraise for charities by running donation-based Karma Yoga classes, led by our recent teacher training graduates. On our teacher training course itself we explore environmental and ethical issues of our modern age and reflect on how we, as yogis, can help.

During the two week intensive we fuel our bodies with delicious vegetarian and vegan meals and in the evenings, there are film and documentary screenings that tie in with yoga and help to raise awareness about our choices and the planet.
