Your guide to our Ashtanga class

Practiced in a non-heated space at our Clapham studio, the Ashtanga practice moves through a set series of postures, linked together with flowing vinyasas.

With a large emphasis on "ujjayi" breath (in which the back of the throat is constricted during both the inhale and exhale), the practice is dictated by each inhale and exhale, used in unison with a strong asana sequence.

Ashtanga practice aims to create a purifying heat from the inside out, creating sweat and eliminating toxins in the system.
