Budokon Yoga Workshop - with Adam Husler

Join yogahaven in this martial arts inspired yoga practice where we seek to gain functional strength and dynamic movement from a fun a fluid practice. Traditional hatha yoga postures will be fused together, in the circular constant flow adopted by martial arts systems, then the pace will be slowed with some meditative practice.

Budokon Yoga unites the distinctive elements of two worlds, martial arts and yoga, to offer the benefits of both disciplines: self-awareness, concentration, courage, emotional and physical healing, and freedom from fear.

Time will be spent looking at some techniques that you can bring to your regular yoga practice, including: spinal articulation in vinyasa, arm balances, how to float back and forward, handstands. You’ll engage parts of your body you didn’t know you had!

Adam is a London based and international yoga teacher, specialising in alignment based vinyasa and Budokon yoga.
