Melanie has always had a fascination with the human body, interested in how the body moves and exploring the boundaries of movement. She studied dance in New York City , learning many techniques from ballet to contemporary to contact improvisation. This is where she discovered Yoga. She studied various styles but found that it was Kundalini Yoga that she had her most powerful experiences with. Melanie then went on to complete her Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training at the Karam Kriya Centre - London

Through her interest in dance and Yoga she became more interested in how people hold stress and tension in their bodies and whether they have or can develop the ability to consciously release it. She completed a course in Holistic and Swedish massage and her reiki levels one and two. Being a therapist allows her to help more people release stress and tension from their bodies and know what it is to feel truly relaxed.
