Scaravelli

Vanda Scaravelli was an unusually inspired and inspiring woman who came to yoga relatively late in life. But through her own explorations realised something so simple that it is almost impossible to grasp - the force of gravity is the very thing that supports us upright, and that if balanced, the wave of the exhale elongates the spine.

Vanda Scaravelli discovered a style of Yoga that involves three principles: Finding support from the ground, connecting to the breath, and awakening the spine. It is designed to work with the natural movement of one's body in relation to gravity and breath awareness. Movement is created from your core - naturally unfolding outward.
