This class aims to bring a deeper level of understanding
to your practice by inviting you to challenge your
body and mind in new and different ways.
Combining structural support and core movement with the
breath, we will take apart what we think we know already, try to
identify our habits and re-approach with a fresh open mind
so as to invite change to occur at a much deeper level.
Regular practice brings increased understanding of movement
from the ground, connections through the body and a sense of
freedom and release in your asana work.
This approach can be surprisingly hard work and heat released
through the body is an expression of a release of tension or a
movement of energy, for this reason we want to be able to
notice it, hence this class is not in a ‘hot’ room.
Each week will be different as we will cover a wide variety of postures and breath work.
This class is suitable for all levels and everyone is welcome.
