Restorative Yoga & Pranayama

The asanas are very gentle as pillows, bolsters and blocks are used to support the body so it can fully relax into the pose. Each asana is held for 6-8 minutes which will allow the nervous system and the muscles to completely surrender therefore restoring energy to the body.

The Pranayama:
Prana – that which is infinitely everywhere.
Ayama – stretch or extend.
Too little prana in the body can be felt as being stuck or restricted – feeling listless or low. The cosy breathing techniques in this class will help to draw more prana into the body resulting in a more peaceful and well balanced mind.

If practiced regularly with mindfulness a huge degree of clarity is created in our lives.

Sally Brooks teaches Restorative Yoga every Friday 6pm (75mins)
