The Power of Gratitude with Amy McDonald

"An attitude of gratitude is the best yoga" Yogi Bhajan... Gratitude is a quality that can promote happiness and strengthen relationships with ourselves and others. In this workshop, Amy will speak about bringing gratitude into your daily practice, and how yoga and meditation can support this. Amy will guide you through a back bending focused Jivamukti flow that will be designed to open the heart space. Peppered with pranayama breathing, meditation, chanting and asana, and then closing with a delicious guided gratitude-based yoga nidra. Amy will take time to break down different backbends, and help you to find your breath and prime position within the asana to create space for growth and transformation. 

Please bring to this workshop an object or some words that represent something that you are grateful for. It could be a picture, a piece from nature, a crystal, jewellery, a quote, a book, etc. We will use these to build an alter all together for the practice This will be a light and fun workshop setting you up for the holiday season with a full and very present heart ready to spill over to all! Amy's intention is to leave you feeling ready to integrate this gratitude practice into your life so you can experience the power it can have both in the yoga practice and beyond.
