Chakra Balancing with Sunita

Join Sunita for a journey through the Chakra system. In Sanksrit the word Chakra literally translates to wheel or disc. In yoga this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body. There are seven main Chakras which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. The Chakras can get blocked or unbalanced through stress and strains of everyday life.

During this workshop Sunita will lead you through a Chakra journey concentrating on releasing energy blocks and allowing energy to flow freely throughout the body. We will explore yin (holding poses for longer periods) and yang (more dynamic flow) practices, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation and mantra.  All levels welcome, just come with an open heart.
