Creative Writing Workshop with Amy Dudgeon

Saturday 18th May 3pm-5pm

 yogahaven Clapham, 63 Wingate square, SW4 0AF

What do Donald Trump, Jay-Z and Keats have in common?
They’re all poets.
(Of a sort).
Amy’s writing workshop will guide you from Romantic poets to Insta
poets as you learn to play with words. You’ll have the opportunity to
learn traditional poetic form, explore rap and spoken word, and create
your own stories with feedback and support. Anyone with a creative
interest is welcome to attend.
After the workshop Amy will facilitate community building for students
who want a creative network with which to share their ideas and work.
Amy is a spoken word poet, playwright and yogi. Her style embodies her
uncle, Gus Dudgeon's, eclectic musical legacy as a producer during the
1970s and 80s (Space Oddity; Your Song). Amy has a BA (Hons) in
English Literature and Language and performs at events throughout the
UK including: The Moth, That’s What She Said, and the Edinburgh Fringe
