Evolution LAB Mentoring Teachers' Workshop Sunday 13th May 2pm-4pm
With Amy McDonald
yogahaven Clapham, 63 Wingate square, SW4 0AF
In this fun two hour workshop we will give you a taste of the Evolution LAB mentoring programme. The Evolution LAB mentoring programme is a 6-month group mentoring programme for new teachers.
This workshop will be a mix of teaching practice with feedback and finding out what the mentoring programme is all about. This is an opportunity to come together as a teaching community and give & receive support. This will be a practical session in which you will step away with some great techniques and connections to help you along with your teaching journey.
Whether you're looking to take part in the Evolution LAB Mentoring Programme or not, this workshop will be a beneficial stand alone opportunity for all teachers looking to take part in a teaching community based event.
Why Mentoring? Completing a yoga teacher training course is a wonderful achievement, so much will have been learnt and so many discoveries will have happened. But what next? Mentoring is something that can guide you to the next level.
Teaching yoga can be isolating at times and lonely. It can also be very rewarding. Being a part of a mentoring group will give you the opportunity to have questions about your teaching discussed and anxieties shared and extinguished. Also this is an opportunity to make connections, creating a COMMUNITY with other teachers going through the same things as you and meet others who are as passionate about yoga as you are.
Amy has shaped a successful career teaching yoga in London for over 5 years. She has delivered studio and private classes, workshops, retreats and destination classes throughout Europe,as well as mentoring teachers on a one to one basis. Her own experience has led her to identify areas of growth and challenges that most new yoga teachers come up against.
Amy has created this workshop & Evolution LAB programme from the basis of her own experience as a new teacher. She felt alack of support and community for new teachers and the experience she has had with her own mentors has been a game changer with her teaching and personal growth.
