Your guide to our LushTums Pregnancy Yoga class

Pregnancy Yoga is one of the best ways to stay fit and healthy throughout pregnancy and alleviates many common discomforts. Specialised expert teacher, Clare Maddalena, who is the founder and Senior Yoga Teacher (SYT) at LushTums, delivers our classes.

Clare has been teaching since 2003 and offers you the perfect balance between something active and something relaxing, leaving you feeling grounded and comfortable in your body.

Classes can help alleviate heartburn nausea and constipation, help with achy backs, shoulders or hips. Regular practice will increase your overall sense of well being and calm, so particularly good if you’ve not been sleeping well or if you are a little anxious or stressed out.

Our Birth Preparation techniques are effortless incorporated into every session - giving mums-to-be essential tools they can use to help with giving birth. Amazingly, we receive lots of feedback from mums and midwives commenting on how brilliant the Birth Breathing we teach is. Midwives can often spot one of our ladies when they are giving birth, as they are doing so well! It’s a credit to our classes!

Classes are 90mins and are £12 drop in, 5 classes for £55 (6 week expiry) and 10 classes for £100 (3 month expiry). Please come along after 16weeks right up until full term. No previous yoga experience necessary, although expert yogis also welcome too!

Clare teaches Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training Courses, training others to bring these expert classes to pregnant women everywhere! The course is complete and thus open to anyone, no experience necessary.
