Spring Cleanse: A Fast, Easy Detox for your Body and Spirit
Set aside a couple of hours, it’s time for spring cleaning – more accurately, spring cleansing. Spring cleansing means detoxifying your body. It’s a way to recharge, rejuvenate and renew.
In the month of March, the body is coming out of hibernation. It’s a way to jump-start your body for a more active and healthier life. It means drinking juice which flushes everything else out of your system. In this workshop, learn which juices are best for a cleanse and why and how to do it at home. Three days of detoxifying juice recipes included as well as some yoga (of course!) and ending with yoga nidra. Yoga nidra is a great way to kickstart your cleanse as it gives you a real positive direction to life and eliminate all the negativities.
Both Julie and Katie are co-founders of iNourish, certified yoga instructors and holistic health coaches where they studied at The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Katie also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Exeter University and Julie, a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University as well as a certificate in Plant-based Nutrition from Cornell University. They will be featured in the March 2012 issues of Body Fitness and Healthy Magazine.

This 1st workshop in a series of 7, brings our attention and focus to
the base of the spine, legs, feet, the pelvis and large intestine.
Through stretching and strengthening the feet, legs and pelvis in
forward bends and standing balances we can reconnect with our root
support; the earth, to feel a greater sense of safety, serenity,
patience, and trust, in ourselves and others.
Joins us in this workshop that focuses on postures, breath and
relaxation techniques to balance the Root (1st) Chakra.
Toni is the principle assistant on the yogahaven teacher training course.
