For some people, developing a safe and confident inversion practice can seem intimidating and scary, however they have a whole host of benefits including being energising, improving balance and targeting the parasympathetic nervous system. In this workshop you will learn how to develop a safe and confident inversion practice, learning all the necessary tools to turn your world upside down with a cool calm yogi head. This workshop will start with a short flow emphasising shoulder opening and forward bending to help us move deeper into our inversions before working with props (blocks, straps, blankets) to assist you in getting upside down, along with step-by-step instructions on how to balance on your head and your hands. The main poses we will be focusing on are handstand, pincha mayurasana and headstand.
