KPole Revolution – An Introduction to Pole Fitness

Over the last 5-10 years, the stigma around the world of pole dancing has changed significantly,

not least with it being recognised as an official sport by the International Sports Federation in 2017.

Established in 2016, KPole merges the world of pole dance, traditional dance, gymnastics and calisthenics,

to create lessons that challenge and inspire you.

We truly believe that anyone can pole. Age, size, shape and weight mean nothing to us, as we will work to find a path that suits you.

In this introductory workshop, we will be welcoming you to the basics. We will explore:

. Grip variations that can allow different ranges of motion

. Basic seated and standing holds on the pole

. An introduction to some beautiful spins and spin combinations

.  How we can take these few steps and produce beautiful flow and routines.  

We also spend time explaining the correct engagement techniques, and body positioning, ensuring that you start your pole journey off safely and effectively.

 If you’ve ‘always wanted to try’, and never got around to it, this is your chance!


. Participants must be aged 16 or over (under 18’s must have parental consent)

. Participants must have filled in a PARQ questionnaire and emergency contact details before attending the    workshop.

. Spectators are not permitted into the workshop.

. Shorts and a vest top/t-shirt are recommended, as we use our body to grip the pole. This is not essential, but will have an effect on the amount of moves you are able to complete.

. Pregnant women will not be able to attend this workshop.

. Payment is non-refundable.  You are welcome to sell your space on the workshop, but refunds will not be given.
