Bhagavad Gita, Asana Lab and Yoga Assists
Saturday 13th May 2:30pm - 6:30pm
This session will start with an hour of teaching from the Bhagavad Gita looking into the discourse between Krishna and Arjuna before chanting key slokas and opening the teachings up for discussion. This will lead into an interactive asana problem-solving laboratory, based on the needs and wants of the attendees, exploring practical ways to achieve more flexibility, balance, safety and freedom with yoga assists and an in-depth look at asana.
This workshop is for both teachers and practitioners who would like to deepen their understanding of asana, focusing on the basic techniques of applying safe and practical hands-on assists as well as verbal and energetic assistance. Through partner work and the exploration of asana we learn how to assist and support others while improving our own practice in the process.
