New to yoga classes in Birmingham? Here's a few tips to get you started Getting to your first yoga class can be challenging, at our yoga studio in Birmingham we appreciate this and therefore do all we can to help you relax and have the best experience possible. It can take time to understand and feel the benefits, similar to any new challenging activity. The temperature of a hot yoga class may take time for you to adjust to or perhaps the faster style of our hot flow yoga leaves you feeling a little lost; but with a little patience and some dedication the science of yoga will gradually unfold. Come prepared for the yoga class It is advised that you arrive approximately 20 minutes early to our yoga studio in Birmingham. It is also recommended that you don't eat 2 hours prior to the start of class and to drink plenty of water. For hot yoga, you will need to bring Drinking water. We sell reusable bottles and have a fresh water filter on site, we try to use less plastic where possible! Two large towels. Towels are available for hire or you can bring your own. Appropriate clothing – a suitable lightweight sports top with shorts or leggings. A change of clothes for after the hot yoga classes (showers are available). Our heating system Our yoga studio in Birmingham is fitted with the best heating system, creating the perfect environment to get sweaty. Our system is set up to allow the teacher to adjust it as necessary and pump fresh oxygen into the room, ensuring everyone breaks a good sweat and can perform at their best.
